Film Review: Friends With Benefits
3rd January, 2012

Friends with Benefits, is yep … you guessed it another American style rom com, which provides plenty of laughter, complicated situations and a lot of physical attraction. Justin Timberlake plays Dylan who is a marketing mastermind, and he lands a job at GQ, through his headhunter, the beautiful Mila Kunis. After a few minutes you can tell that the on screen chemistry is undeniable, and they think it's going to be easy to add the simple act of sex to their friendship, but they soon discover that getting physical really does always lead to complications. The story is easy to predict, they have their fun, they act like it doesn’t matter that they see other people, and then one of them get’s hurt and… like any romantic Hollywood movie, they end up falling in love and being together.
What did the staff at our student accommodation in Leeds think of this movie?
Many parts of this film reminded me of No String’s Attached with Aston Kutcher and Natalie Portman, released earlier this year though slightly less racy! In conclusion, I thoroughly enjoyed this film, it had plenty to offer, but No String’s Attached really did tick every box on my list. This is certainly a feel good movie, and definitely worth a watch.
I would rate this film 4 out of 5. Go and watch it…
