A Parent’s review of iQ Student Accommodation

We’re in the lucky position to get lots of feedback from our lovely students about why they enjoy living at iQ – you can read their reviews of iQ in the testimonials section of this site, but we also get some great comments from the parents of students are living with us. We thought it was time we shared some of this insight with you, and here in his own words, is why Ian Neal is glad his daughter has recently rebooked at iQ Edinburgh.

 “Our daughter has been with iQ in Edinburgh during her first year at Napier University. From the first contact we had with the staff at iQ we have been really impressed by their helpfulness and understanding. They made the signup understandable and straightforward – far more so than when we were at university! We were convinced that our daughter would be in safe hands when we visited for a tour and saw the levels of security offered by iQ – the gates to get into the housing area are keyfob access, as are the blocks and the security in the rooms themselves all told us that this is an organisation who cares. Similarly the way in which maintenance calls are dealt with swiftly is very reassuring; and the included fast Internet allows unlimited Skype. But, as a parent, it’s the ability to speak directly with someone who is on-site to discuss arrangements for rent, parcels delivery and so on that really does it for us. One doesn’t deal with a ‘head office’ or university accommodation service, one deals with the manager who is actually there – and that’s special and different. We would highly recommend iQ accommodation to everyone and in fact have just signed the guarantor form for our daughter’s second year with iQ.”
