iQ Birmingham offers a range of studios and ensuite bedrooms to suit different budgets and lifestyles. We thoughtfully include all utilities, your contents insurance with Endsleigh, and a 4Mb broadband connection so there are no nasty bills at the end of the month.

STUDIOS

Studios are ideal if you want to live in a self-contained apartment. Perhaps you are a 2nd or 3rd year or even a postgraduate student wanting to enjoy the great location and social atmosphere of iQ Birmingham whilst having your own home to retreat to at the end of the day.

The studios are cleverly laid out to ensure you have dedicated space to study, relax and prepare your favourite meals. They are equipped with a kitchen area complete with a combination microwave/oven, hob, and fridge – no excuses for a take-away! All studios have ample storage and an ensuite shower room, as well as a large desk with lots of space to study and plenty of sockets for all your IT and gadgets. Most studios have double beds and some have nifty pull down beds to maximise the space in your room.

SHARED FLATS

Within one of a our shared flats you have your own private ensuite bedroom and share a kitchen/lounge area with your flat mates, which provides a great space for socialising and relaxing, whether its cooking up your favourite meal, chatting over a coffee or sharing something stronger!

This is a great way to meet people and to ensure that you start university life the way you mean to continue! Or, if you already have a group of friends that you would like to share with, why not do a group booking?

Ensuite Bedrooms

Arranged within a flat of 4-6 bedrooms, all have an ensuite shower room, ample storage and a dedicated study area with plenty of space for all your books and loads of sockets for all your kit.

Shared kitchen/living area

The shared kitchens are fully equipped so you can cook up a feast! We provide an oven, hob, microwave, fridge and freezer so all you need to do is fill the cupboards with your favourite nibbles.

Whether sharing a meal, a drink or watching TV, you can relax on the comfy leather sofas in the lounge area and enjoy socialising with your flat mates. We also provide you with a vacuum cleaner, mop/bucket, dustpan and brush, iron and ironing board to assist you in keeping your flat clean and tidy.

SOCIAL HUB

At iQ Birmingham, our Social Hubs are the heart of the building, complete with a big screen, Sky TV, comfy sofas and a pool table. The central atrium Hub is a great, light, airy space in the summer whilst we also have a cosier Hub to curl up in during the long winter evenings.

OTHER FACILITIES

Our unique all weather sports pitch is the ideal way to let off steam whether you want to organise a 5-a-side football, basketball or netball match, or have a general kick around with your mates you can use it for free!

At iQ Birmingham, we are really spoiling you! We have upgraded the package provided by Ask4 so you can benefit from so much more than just the 4Mb broadband service. Free IPTV will enable you to get around 40 freeview channels delivered straight to your laptop, the extra gaming service will give you the ability to connect games consoles and enjoy high-priority connections to a number of key gaming server networks and you can also benefit from being able to backup your important coursework, photos, music or any files and access them from anywhere on the internet.

If all this isn't enough for you gadget fans, you can even upgrade to 20Mb or 50Mb broadband or even buy a handset to enable you to make high quality calls with competitive call rates from your laptop.

For your convenience, we have provided a laundry room as well as a secure bike store for all you fitness fanatics and environmentally friendly students.

ON SITE TEAM

The Accommodation Team not only look after the building, but are on hand to assist you – they are also a fountain of knowledge about the local area and can help you to get the most out of your stay with iQ. As you would expect we have an out of hours service so you're never left in limbo in an emergency.

Your booking is not secure until you have paid a deposit. The standard deposit for an ensuite room is £250 and for a studio £350. The deposit is not refundable under any circumstances. Once you move in, your deposit becomes a damage deposit which will be returned to you at the end of your tenancy, less any agreed charges where applicable.
